The FUNDACIÓN CETEMMSA was founded in 1991 as a non-profit technological centers. It is specialized in the applied research on smart materials and devices. One of its main functions is to work together with companies, other research centres and universities on joint projects in various technological fields. Its mission is to help companies enhance their competitiveness via product innovation –smart objects- and knowledge transfer. Additionally the Centre also specialises in information technologies and consultancy on innovation and organisation in order to underpin its services portfolio and enable innovation to be managed as an overall strategic process.The Cetemmsa team, comprising mainly engineers and scientists, form a highly qualified and skilled professional team of experts in their respective fields who also have the ability to link up with the needs of the business sector. At the present time, Cetemmsa has a permanent staff of more than seventy professionals supported by over thirty regular collaborators.
