The field of printed electronics includes many areas and reaches from materials, processes, manufacturing, system integration, electronics to channel for the end consumer. The value chain includes the chemical industry, mechanical engineering, the printing industry, electrical engineering, packaging and consumer goods industry and systems engineering. Due to this multidisciplinarity no entity can cover the whole process and cooperations are essential to foster the succes of any project in this field. The combination of the Know-How of the participating centers adds value as the whole value chain can be covered by PEC4 and friction losses can be avoided.
